Minnesota, St. Paul, Bicentennial Wagon Train Pilgrimage

During the Bicentennial year of the United States, Pennsylvania sponsored a cross country wagon train pilgrimage to focus attention on the State's role in the birth of the nation, the American Revolution and westward expansion. The Pilgrimage was a train of authentic covered wagons. Each state was provided a Conestoga Wagon or a Prairie Schooner.

The wagon in the photograph was at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in April 1976.
